Evaluation

Activities within the project „FAU Teacher Education International” are scientifically monitored and evaluated. The project evaluation serves the development process of a sustainable establishment of the internationalization of teacher education at FAU. Moreover, evaluating project activities ensures the achievement of project aims and allows the assessment of the quality of measures taken. The concept of evaluation takes the complexity of the project into account and considers the following aspects:

• The complexity of teaching degree programs (numerous subject combinations, Educational Science, internships, various school types)
• Several affected spheres (curricula of teaching degree programs, FAU partnerships and partnerships from FAU faculties)
• Different target groups of measures taken (teacher educators, students of teacher education, teachers in workshops for continuous professional development at FAU, counselling facilities and service centers)
