International Weeks

Once a year, the “International Week in Teacher Education” takes place at FAU with different thematic focuses in the field of teacher education. During this week, you have the opportunity to gain international experience on site by

• participating in various seminars and workshops that will enhance your international and intercultural competencies
• networking with international students
• attending guest lectures by international guests
• getting to know locally organized networks, programs and projects with an international focus

In addition, a wide range of information and counselling events will help you learn about mobility opportunities. This includes:

• the presentation of FAU partner universities by representatives of the foreign university
• the presentation of mobility programs and opportunities for financial support as well as the presentation of different formats of stays abroad (e.g. semesters abroad, internships, summer/winter schools)
• experience reports with from fellow students who have been abroad
• counselling from representatives of the FAU International Offices
• the presentation of non-university mobility programs
